Model SI Insertion Weigh Belt
Thayer Scale’s Model SI insertion weigh feeder fits into an existing production process to provide real-time continuous flow rate measurement and control.
Thayer Scale’s Model SI sanitary insertion weigh belt feeder is a unique feeder that has been designed to easily fit into an existing production process. The Model SI consists of a short conveyor directly coupled to a mass counterbalanced weight sensing system.
With sanitary stainless-steel construction and a wide range of new belt options and widths (from 18” to 48”), Thayer Scale’s Model SI can be used in many food processes not previously suitable for standard weigh belt feeders.
This configuration permits the use of belts not suitable for conventional weigh belt service, such as wire mesh, modular, cleated, profiled, and other high-tension belts, without compromising measurement accuracy.
The Thayer Scale Model SI comes in either scale over or scale under design. A short support framework and a V-Guided conveyor (12, 18, 24 and 36 wide) makes this the only practical weighing module for insertion into a transition space between existing conveyors or equipment.
