What’s New: “Operator Interface"

The all new Series 5200 is Thayer Scale’s new generation of operator interface for control and monitoring of any process weighing and flow control equipment.

It uses a powerful internal 24-bit (1 part in 4,000,000) load resolution to produce unparalleled system accuracy.

Series 5200 keeps the customers wiring to a minimum by using an intelligent scale module mounted at the feeder or scale, which gathers, load, speed and temperature and communicates the information to the central processor through 2-wire RS422/485 connection.

Both software and firmware are stored on non-volatile memory format, compact flash card. This makes it easy to manage a variety of open and closed loop software applications such as: Weigh Belt Integrator (both commercial and noncommercial), Weigh Belt Controller, Continuous Loss-In-Weight Controller, Liquid Rate Controller and Loss-In-Weight Batch Controller.

The Series 5200 can be used with either LVDT or strain gauge load cells and is ideal for upgrading and retrofitting existing feeder systems.
