The model 18L scale design provides high sensitivity to even the smallest weight changes. The measurement of weight loss is accomplished with a unique flexure scale system coupled to an accurate, very sensitive, high output electronic force measurement sensor. Feeder "dead" weight (weigh hopper, motor, speed reducer, etc.) is mass-counterbalanced so that material weight only is measured. This feature helps assure excellent control even in "noisy" environments.
