Specialized scale design assures reliable, accurate metering

The heart of any gravimetric feeder is its scale system. The LWF-18L-V incorporates a flexure style scale with a high accuracy, high resolution electronic displacement force sensor.

Rugged: The Model 18L flexure scale will withstand loads up to 1,000lbs. without the need to recalibrate. Competing designs experience significant calibration shifts at 150% of rated capacity and complete failure at 300% of rated capacity.

Accurate: Our scale measures material weight only. The weight of the feeder mechanism is mass-counterbalanced. High output weight measurement sensor is coupled to our flexure scale system. High accuracy, very high resolution weight sensing system assures a high signal to noise ratio.
