This cereal manufacture uses Thayer “FP” belt scales to weigh and monitor the production of various cereal products.

The ability of the “FP” to mechanically tare out the weight of the scale idler and the belt, permits the use of a load cell sized for the weight of the product only, providing high resolution and greater measurement accuracy. The material being weighed is in the 3 to 5 lb/ft_ range.
